Wedge Anchor Strength Grade: Must satisfy engineering requirements.

Anchor Bolt Strength Grade: For curtain wall projects, a minimum grade of 8.8 is recommended; for super-high-rise buildings or heavy-duty curtain walls, grade 10.9 is preferred.
Why? Low-strength steel grades (4.8/5.8) are susceptible to creep and fatigue fracture under long-term alternating loads, making them unsuitable for curtain wall applications.

Wedge Anchor Corrosion Resistance Rating: Matched to the Service Environment

Standard Indoor / Inland Urban Areas: Electro-galvanizing (≥5μm) is sufficient; chromate passivation (color zinc) is recommended.
Coastal / Industrial Zones / High-Humidity Environments: Hot-dip galvanizing (≥85μm) or stainless steel (A4-70/316) is the preferred choice.
If the coating on the anchor bolt is too thin, it will corrode and expand within a few years, causing the concrete to crack or weakening the cross-section, ultimately leading to failure.

ETA Certification (European Technical Assessment): The gold standard for curtain wall anchors, which must encompass specialized assessments covering post-installed anchoring performance in concrete, fire resistance, and seismic resistance.
